Kim is a Rehoboth Beach oil painter who focuses on familiar local sights; quaint cottages, aging farmhouses and beach homes that capture the essence of Sussex County in days gone by. She is the mother of two children and works from her home studio and B.A.S.E. on Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Delaware.

Kim spent a year at the University of Delaware, then transferred and graduated from the Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography in York, PA in 1985. After graduation, she worked as a graphic artist in various advertising, private and government agencies. After years of working as a graphic artist and practicing her fine art in her “spare time” she returned to the University of Delaware in 1998 and graduated with her B.A. with a concentration in Painting and a minor in English.
